Prof. Robert Curl is a world renowned Chemist. He won the Nobel Prize in Chemistry in 1996 for the discovery of the nanomaterial buckminsterfullerene. Prof. Curl has been a Professor at Rice University’s Department of Chemistry. He devoted all his life to the study of carbon nano-materials and others related elements. Prof. Curl has published a large number of world-class papers which have been cited over 10.000 times. In addition to the Nobel Prize, he has also won many other international awards. He is a Fellow of the American National Academy of Sciences and an Academician of the European Academy of Arts, Sciences, and Humanities.
